Nightmare On Elm

So the reboot of Nightmare On Elm Street is the big movie now. I well remember watching the original back in the '80s, and how terrified I was. They say this one isn't so scary. Jackie Earle Haley was great in The Watchmen and Semi-Pro, but no one can out-Freddy Englund, in my opinion. He cut his teeth in the original V, and somehow, for me, the association with his borderline mentally disabled character in the miniseries somehow made Freddy's chortling malevolence all the more scary.
